Eighteen-year-old Lissa is eager to graduate and leave her small hometown of Abandon. Within one week of graduation Lissa meets Ryan, the cute boy who recently moved to town; her old friend Trevor inserts himself back into her life, and she wakes one day to find her parents gone.
Enter Darklily, a jaguar from Pandorma—a talking jaguar, which throws Lissa for a loop and when this jaguar starts telling her about a foreign planet called Pandorma? Well there’s no way she’s believing this cat. That is until Darklily takes Lissa to a portal and she jumps into a world where the laws of nature can be bent and the creatures that inhabit the planet live by the rule of kill or be killed. Darklily hasn’t brought Lissa here for a joyride though. In fact, Darklily has brought Lissa into the middle of a war and I still insisting that she is the only one who can bring the war to an end.
Darklily says Lissa is a shapeshifter . . . at first Lissa refuses to believe this but as she comes to realize how dangerous Pandorma can be, she figures out how to unlock her power to shift. Running out of time and with little training, Lissa goes up against her formidable adversaries who can also shapeshift, unaware of the consequences everyone will face if she fails.

My story

Out of all the people I saw myself becoming when I got older, a writer wasn’t one of them. I loved fashion, I enjoyed art, I thought about owning and running a business–a bakery since I enjoy baking, and above all I loved singing and dancing. Why I started writing is still a mystery to me but now I couldn’t stop even if the world ran out of paper and electronics were no longer available to us.

I live in Western New York with two cockatiels and a small pride of barn cats. Aside from plotting my next travel adventure I spend my time writing and daydreaming/hiking in the forest behind the house.
