Wedged on the Shelf

Well, I had planned on including a picture with this post, but this computer is driving me nuts! It’s driven in the decision to purchase a new laptop, as much as I dislike the idea of getting a new one. Devices and writing programs might make writing ten times easier, but I’m definitely not a big fan of technology. There should be a device strictly for writing for people like me, who just want to use it for writing and nothing else! Surely I can’t be the Only one.

Back to what this post was supposed to be about: my book is now on a library shelf! It’s been there a week or two now but I haven’t been able to get to a computer to mention it. I don’t dare use the internet on my laptop because I risk crashing my computer, the WordPress browser is out of date on my iPad, and the computer which I usually (and am using now while it’s free) was stolen by my dad for his use. The computer technically isn’t mine so there was only so much I could do. I suspect all the programs he’s downloaded is the reason for it being such a pain.

Anyway, the next move is to find a library that’s somewhat bigger than the one my book is currently in and another one of the small libraries closer to me. I put my book up on a site called Reedsy, it’s supposed to get me a review. So far nothing but there’s still time. It was something I had to pay for so I’m expecting to get one. I hope.

Onto my next computer project, while I have the time. I’m creating a cover for a short story I wrote and it wasn’t working on my iPad (surprise, surprise, I have such a fun time with electronics!). Sending a prayer I can create it with minimal frustration.
